Meet Brigitte

Hi, I’m Brigitte, a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with more than 25 years of experience supporting families through their feeding and early parenting journeys. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with families in a variety of community and public health settings, where I developed a deep appreciation for the unique challenges each family faces.

As both a nurse and a mother of two, I understand how personal and individual every feeding experience can be. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and evidence-based care. I take time to listen, to understand each family’s goals, and to provide guidance that fits their circumstances.

With extensive knowledge of lactation and infant feeding, I’m passionate about helping parents feel confident and supported as they nurture their babies. I provide in-home feeding support so families can feel comfortable, cared for, and able to define their own version of success.

Services

Initial in-home lactation consultation:

Your initial in-home visit offers personalized, one-on-one support to help you and your baby begin feeding with comfort and confidence. Together, we’ll review your feeding history, observe a feeding, weigh your baby, and address common concerns such as latch difficulties, nipple pain, milk supply, and feeding frequency.

You’ll receive hands-on guidance to improve positioning and latch, along with a detailed feeding plan to help guide you and reinforce the techniques and strategies covered during your visit.

In home 90 minute initial visit - $175

Follow up in-home lactation consultation:

A follow-up visit is offered if additional support is needed as you and your baby continue to establish feeding routines. We’ll assess progress and weight gain, address any ongoing challenges, and adjust strategies as needed to help you feel confident and comfortable.

During the visit, you’ll receive hands-on coaching and an updated feeding plan to reinforce techniques and ensure your baby’s needs are being met. Optional follow-up support by email or check-in contact can also be offered to provide extra reassurance between visits.

Where do I start?

Every feeding journey is unique and having an opportunity to share and discuss your experience is important. We can talk about what’s going well, what’s challenging, and what kind of support you are looking for. It’s important to ensure that any future care is tailored to your needs right from the start.
